Hi All,
Just wondering what methods or prints everyone is using the adapt cardboard spools to work in the AMS?

I started with one of these, which didn’t fit properly. I ended up designing ones to fit exactly. What I discovered was cardboard spools vary even for one batch and supplier. They are paper and it changes.

I now have likely ten or so pairs all slightly different. I tried originally to use different colours for each pair but gave up after 5 or 6 pairs.

My ams is unreliable it really isn’t an issue, it jams more often then it doesn’t, cardboard or not, Bambu solution, buy our (Esun? or Sunlu?) filament.

I’m like 98% sure its Esun lol.

I have never really had a lot of great experiences with the AMS unit, always seems to cause me issues. I know a lot of people use them reliably and successfully but it just never seems to like me very much. I find my mmu3 and ercf more reliable than it honestly, could honestly just be something I am messing up. When it works it sure is cool though…
