Hi,

We recently replaced the Hotend on my son’s creality ender 3 neo and have since gotten a terrible beeping sound and an error screen once turned on. The error screen reads

Err: MAXTEMP: E1
PRINTER HALTED
Please Reset

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like thermal runaway. I’d suspect a thermistor is damaged, they can be very delicate. It just try a new one.
