# Looking for a 20 pin ribbon cable for a sidewinder x1

One of the pins on my ribbon cable is going, I have it working and inserted for now but I’m worried its going to get worse. 3DPC doesn’t have it in stock and I’d rather not wait a month for a spare to get here if someone has one to spare/sell. Buy or trade let me know, I have a disassembled sidewinder hotend I’d be happy to trade if someone wants the parts. This is the cable that runs on the gantry to the hotend, not the vertical one.

Hey @Stuart,  
personally I don’t have one to spare. Mine is also going and I am going to swap it out when I change the nozzle today I hope. Walmart, Amazon, aliexpress all have them. It is something you should have an extra of. They wear out. I have replaced both the 20 and 30 more than once. I live alone so I have completely removed the hot ed cover, that extended the life a fair bit for me but all the wiring is exposed. Its a terrible idea if pets or other people have access.
