Just found this topic. I need to replace the wheels on my x-axis carriage and had been waiting for 3DPC to restock PC v wheels but is that really worth doing? Should I just get the POM wheels and be done with it?
I use the POM as long as they last, once a replacement is needed I use PC.
I have yet to have to replace a PC wheel

Jason just out of curiosity do you find PC changes tension with humidity? I have a PC sheet I use around the house and when I wash it it cups with the spray, quite a lot in fact. Do the PC ‘rim’ expand with humidity? It might be so small it makes no difference. I am just curious. I have not noticed with the ones I installed on the X1
I have never noticed if it does or not, I tighten them just enough, to account for temp, never actually considered humidity,
I have them on my X1 I didn’t notice either but the humidity is not high yet since having them on. Just curious, theory and practice are never the same.
