Where did everybody go!

Did the rapture happen and no one emailed me? Traffic on the site has dropped a lot, anyone know why???

Could be Summer and too hot to print in the house.

Who knows??

Seem that there are lots of people reading posts but very few reply’s or new posts.

For myself, just been busy and only get to the site about once a week these days (not the daily I used to).

I think everybody got all their questions about 3D printing answered and completely fixed their machines. Now everybody is making 100% perfect prints all the time. There are no more problems and everything is awesome (theme song from The Lego Movie starts playing).

OK, I thought it might be the end of the world or something else like that.

For my part, I bought a Creality K1max and it is awesome so far. Also the projects seem to be getting bigger, as you can see, and until they get finished not much to report. This project may be a long time as my local hobby shop seems to be in limbo with products from China to complete the RC part. So I have moved on to other projects that have been back of mind for some time. Like modeling then printing worm & wheel drives. Please don’t think you are being ignored I always read the information. In short we are all still here and interested!

That is a great model!
You don’t need to model gears etc. you can download STL files from suppliers like McMaster Carr or gear and drive suppliers that are physically correct. They usually have files for a lot of things from nuts and bolts, rivets to the kitchen sink.

If your local shop is letting you down don’t forget about Amazon.

I peep every now and again, but largely have been dealing with some other hobbies, like franken modding some MTB’s for my wife and I into what I’m now seeing called Comfort bikes… naming fads… whatever, we both need a more upright posture due to issues incurred due to many revolutions around Sol. Bike grease is not compatible with 3D printing, and man, it takes forever to get it off my skin - even with the orange hand cleaner.
