Which Filaments would you recommend I try after PLA?

As everyone knows, PLA is the gold standard in 3d printing filament.

Which filament would you recommend users try after learning PLA and why?

What are some of the mechanical properties in this filament that interest you?

Iā€™m leaning towards PetG for a tougher print. i mostly print out tool storage components. from what i have been reading it is the best to do with, other than ASA, or ABS due to my End 3V2 not having an enclosure.

PETG. No question. Best all round , enclosure optional but sometimes needed.

PLA is Easy to use but fragile, sensitive to heat.
ABS is great except needs enclosure to avoid warping and gives off unhealthy smelly gases
ASA is great except needs enclosure to avoid warping and limited in choices of color.
