3d scanner is it worth it and what's the best one to buy

I’m looking into buying a 3d scanner for pieces around the the 0.5 to 12 inch mark. I can’t make up my mind which one to get I don’t want to cheap out but also I don’t need one that’s a couple thousand dollars

Hey there,

I actually just answered another question pretty similar to this, so I will just link the thread below:

TLDR - CR-Scan Ferret will probably be your best option, its mobile, easy to use, and affordable.

Thanks,
Matthew

I am also seriously considering a 3D scanner and currently thinking of getting the CR-Scan Ferret.

Also looking at the CR-Scan Lizard as well but a bit more expensive Creality 3D Scanner CR-Scan Lizard Luxury Edition – 3D Printing Canada

Blenky

It really all has to do with the size of the object you are scanning

It’s a much different device to scan a building front over a tooth. Different jobs and they do not necessarily cross over very well.

Hey,

I have a great deal on a like new einstar scanner

Thanks
