has anyone used this stuff with a wash station I have Creality UW-03 Washing/Curing Machine and can it be filtered and re-used like IP if anyone can give any tips on using this it would be greatly thankful
My tip is stick with isopropyl, at least as your final step.
I bought a bunch of the resin wash concentrate, mixed it according to the label, and was constantly ending up with this greasy feeling residue on all of my prints using either of my wash stations.
Since I had so much of it and I wanted to still use it up my current cleaning method is that I have the model wash in a big bucket and I use a small drop in ultrasonic cleaner to get the bulk of the resin off of the model, sometimes I’ll get a few stubborn areas with a toothbrush in the bucket of wash as well. Then I move the model into my Elegoo wash station that is full of 99% isopropyl and wash it for a few more minutes to get the model wash residue off.
By doing this two step process the model wash sees the bulk of the resin and the isopropyl barely gets contaminated and is lasting a lot longer. This has given me by far the best consistency for getting my models totally clean.
I haven’t tried filtering it because I mixed up like 12L in the bucket and haven’t needed to change it yet, I also don’t print tons with my resin printers since most of my prints are functional parts better suited for FDM.
thank you so much for your help Blair
