damn I was going to drill mine out for larger sizes might have to save a couple now heh
Its definitely a neat idea.
Making tops has become a sport for machinists. When I first started the European guys that worked in the shop were making them, very fine work. And competing with them, its a bit of an art I guess. Never thought anything of it because those guys would bet on anything but recently I tripped across a whole culture of people making them even now.
Makes me want to watch the movie Inception again…
