Not sure what’s going on with these yet again. It’s getting kind of fun now though that they seem to be developing different issues at different rates.
Machine 01:
Seems to print normally most of the time at ~220 for PLA, but any temperature fluctuation causes it to jam up within a few layers. Machine 01
Machine 02: Below 220 seems to slowly degrade in quality and or adhesion to layers. Occasionally produces extremely stringy parts or parts where it seems like every other layer was skipped. Machine 02
Machine 04/05: These seem to get somewhere between 2 to 5 hours into a print, then skip 1-2 layers, then keep going, sometimes it’s not even all of a layer either, resulting in a part where there’s adhesion but no structural integrity. Machine 04/05A Machine 04/05 B
Machine 03/06: Within desired parameters.
On machine 04 I replaced the hotend cooling fan and the issues persisted. Numerous nozzle swaps have been done across various machines and issues have largely persisted or gone away for 1-2 prints and then returned.
Already planning to bring ender3 into the shop soon for what I believe is either a wiring fault or a dead control component (extruder stops driving randomly) soonish, possibly May 23/24/25.
Machines have at most 150hrs of running since previous post regarding thermal issues.
