AMS2 Really? Again?

My AMS2 is again having issues. The AMS units I have I converted them to Python ams. The reliability when from absolutely unreliable to rock solid, I use the spool refill function all the time.

The AMS2 is rapidly becoming the same unreliable issue as the original. Jams, failure to retract, feeding issues, slipping… you would think they could try to improve the design so it actually works? Bambu do better don’t just rile up the whole community every 8-12 months but actually make batter products.

Humebeam kind sir… I can see another boost coming your way.

Feeling this one. There’s something deflating about a v2 landing right back at the same failure modes the original had - jams, missed retractions, slipping. I’m genuinely curious about the Python AMS conversion you did on the older units; if it took them from unreliable to rock solid, that says a lot about where the real bottleneck is. Any chance you’d write up a short how-to? I suspect a lot of people here would line up for it.

I can supplement Humebeams however his (the designers) is exceptional. The ams2 is more complex as I has he drying function. That said he pull it all back and extra power supply I am no sure the external system he designed is a problem. I have no had a chance to get to it yet but plan too.
