What does this mean. I go tthe bed closer to the head but i dont know if its to much or jd there is something else i can do. I know the center of the bed has to come up a little also.
Does your printer have “bed adjustment screws” under the bed?
Most of the consumer grade printers have a sheared piece of aluminum for the bed and they are not necessarily flat, so the bed centre may be lower or higher then the edges. Bed heating can also warp the bed. If it has screws then a lot of bed warp can be removed. The bed should be about one thickness of a piece of paper from the tip.
I have the kobra 2 max. The bed has solid spacers under it. I just put anti backlash pieces for the z rods. But even if the first layer is bad, once the next 2 layers are down it looks perfect. I did lift the spacers a little bit to help but i think just going back to factory would be best to recheck everything. All this just started happening too.
My bed has similar spacers under it. The “recommended” fix is to shim the plate with aluminum foil (some use paper) to get it level. I used the auto bed measurement system to see how far the bed is warped using Orca slicer (it has a visual display of the bed) and then just shim and repeat until it is close enough.
Ok, i havent seen that. Ill try that out
