I researched about the best 3D scanner for 3D printing for the past few days because I need accurate scans for creating high-quality 3D printed models. I read reviews on popular 3D printing websites, tech blogs, and user forums, and they are marking these two as the best:

But if you want the precision, go with the Metro Y, but it needs to be hooked up with a desktop/Laptop
