One of my printers had a lot of errors and the head was loose, so I tightened the screws. I printed this benchy, can anyone tell me what is wrong with the printer settings?
Top and middle part was printed ok. This maybe an issue with you filament. The middle part had some print issue.
Have you tried to dry the filament? How old is your filament?
Try to dry or use a new filament to fix this.
What type of filament and print settings. Some of it looks like under extrusion.
Thank you so much. I fiddled around with the settings and it worked. I will dry the filament. I have another question: there’s a dehydrate setting on my oven, would that work or do i need to buy a dedicated dryer?
It depends on the temperature it runs at. Anything over or near 70C will cause problems with the filament, at least for PLA. It may start to stick/fuse together. For other type of filaments it depends on the specific glass temp of the filament. For PLA I use the cheapest food dehydrator I could find, with the centre of the food racks cut away. It reaches about 60C and will dry a roll in a few hours.
Thank you!
