Can someone tell me how I can achieve this look using a 3D printer? I usually make cookie cutters using cookiecad in my 3D printer so I’m not really familiar with other 3D software and how to apply them. Please help!
Draw up the main part and then do a Boolean subtraction of the inleted shape and you will get that shape.
So draw the inleted shape over the main part, use the subtraction command (this varies from one cad package to others a bit) to get the depth you want. If you need different layers on the finished object then you need to repeat the last step.
