Does anyone have any specifics on how to connect an iMac running Sierra to Pronterface?
I have no clue how to identify the correct Port. My pulldown menu for the Port list on Pronterface only shows various Bluetooth ports.
Any help would be appreciated!!

I use a MBP running el cap and Pronterface. I always use a direct usb cable, port:/dev/tty.usbmodem621 @115200
I plug in the printer then turn it on, not sure it makes a difference but … Wait a moment for the printer then hit connect. I really only use it on rare occasions.
