CR-10 SE Filament feeder problem

I wonder if you could assist me, I have a Creality CD-10 SE which has been working great, however I was changing the filament but the filament will not pass through the feeder when I press the lever, could the feeder block be blocked? how would I clear it? is there a bowden tube within the feeder assembly that could be damaged? the filament only seems to go to the red dotted line in the image

Easiest way to check what it blocked is to start pulling stuff off. Usually I will start with taking the extruder off, it should be attached with a couple of screws which will need to be undone and then it will come right off. Then you can inspect the tube and the hotend to see if there is anything which needs cleaning!

I have removed the hot end/nozzle and the temp sensor, bowden tube is clear as is the chamber, can get the long pin down to the nozzle. as you can see in the pics its the feeder block with the release leaver that the filament cannot pass through, has anybody else had this issue with the Creality CR-10 SE

Hi all, I managed to fix the issue, had to remove the hot end, temp sensor, circuit board and the small fan, then could remove the filament feeder, looked like a filament that I used previously (transparent) was a bit brittle and a small part had become separated and fell sideways within the feeder, subsequently blocking the feed path, all back together and working better than ever
