I just had my machine upgraded at 3D Print Canada and they told me to get on here if I had anymore questions. They told me all you people are wizzards on here. I am just a smuck trying to get by. Can anyone help me refine my settings here.
Nozzle too close to the bed?

I don’t think so but like I said I am pretty green. I slowed the feed back down and cooled the nozzle down. It seems better.
The top one I agree with Glenn it looks too close and you get the ripple effect.Same for the bottom it could be too close.
Posting print settings and type of filament would be the place to start when asking for help.
