Cura Fills in Space it Should Not

Cura is filling in a void in a model that it shouldn’t.

The image below shows a section thru the base of the model.
Notice the void between the concentric rings.

The image below shows a post-slice section thru the same area of the same model within Cura 5.11. Notice Cura shows material between the concentric rings.

I presume I’ve set something that causes Cura to fill in this void?
Which setting(s) should I check–and change?

Have you tried reorienting the model and slicing it again. Sometimes slicers have a mind of their own and do weird things. I can’t think of a setting that would change a print like that but I haven’t used Cura in some time.
