No matter what i do the edges on every print curl up. I have changed the temperature on the bed, i have washed it, steel wooled it, acetoned it, lowered the fan speed, lowered the speed on the first layer. I even upped the flow rate from 0.95 to 1. I dont know what else to do besides try a new plate. This is what its doing
What printer
What bed type
I always print the first layer at 70C (50C for the rest), use brims (bigger if necessary) and use glue if the bed type allows for it. For long narrow prints use large mouse ears on the corners along with or instead of brims
Its on a kobra 2 max with a texture pei plate. I tried a brim and it just pulled that up also
Its also pla if that makes a difference
Check your Z-height and bed leveling. Calibrate your printer
Here’s a guide from Teaching Tech 3D Printer Calibration. - https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html#firstlayer
I have had that happen on long narrow prints so I just made it thicker (25mm) for that print and that worked.
Might be your Z offset is wrong. Could be the flow ratio is off too.
I cant figure out the z offset. I cant do .1 or .01 of a mm adjustment on mine. A 1mm adjust is either possibility to high or one tap down and i cant move a sheet a paper under the nozzle
Unfortunately I am not familiar with that printer so I can’t really help. Have you tried looking up these settings on You Tube? That is my go to last ditch solution. Does the manufacturer have a solution?
Ill have to email the manufacturer. Its just annoying. Good thing im doing prints just for myself so i dont care to much lol
Do they have a support section on their website?
I think so. If not ill just email someone and see if thet can get me to the right person.
It certanily looks like a z offset and/or bed leveling problem to me. If your firmware is not allowing you to adjust the z offset in increments that make the nozzle the perfect distance from the build plate then see about updating the firmware. You may need to go to a third party for a better firmware. I had to do that on my Ender 3. So much frustration mostly because of bad firmware.
Ill have to see if there is an update. I know i did one not to long ago. I just started having this problem recently. I have 420 hours on now
