Hi everyone
I’m Lee and just got into the 3D printing journey recently. Last month , I just purchased the Elegoo Centauri Carbon to print some of my projects like robot arms, DIY gadgets, Car…
I realized that the print quality of this machine after set up is quite good. But I’m sure why the layer is not smooth as i think… Does any one have any solution !
Also you can check the quality of the benchy in the test I’ve made in the video ! Link to set up and test the ELegoo Centauri Carbon
that appears to be z banding. Often it is belt tension, resonance or fine artifacts.try different print settings, slower most likely it may go away.
Check the belt tension first.
I believe it have input shaping, run a calibration on that to see if it goes away.
VFA is from he steppers. I would just live with it.

It could also be your flow rate, or even a screw got loose during shipping.

If you get into 3D printing you definitely have a screw loose!

Sometimes it can just be the shape of the part you are printing.
