For the moderators - Forum Software problem

Lately I have been having a problem with trying to edit a post. It keeps giving error messages when I try and save an edit and refuses to save them. If i go back at a later date sometimes I can save an edit???

These are a couple of the messages I get.

  1. 500 Internal Server Error

  2. An error occurred: That post was edited by another user and your changes can no longer be saved.

I’ve been having the same errors. I keep pressing the save changes button, and eventually it works. Still annoying though.

Thanks for letting us know, we will have to look into this further. I will try to mess around and see if I can recreate the error.

Ok, I was in fact able to recreate the error, I will look into this and see what we can do to fix it!

I found that this code as well but noticed that if you reload the page it is updated

HI Everyone just wanted to update this thread.

The backend software has been updated and the problem should not come back again. It’s been addressed as a bug.
