How do I stop this from happening in my prints? There are small spaces I do not want.
If the holes shown are on the top face of the print you may need to do one of 2 things.
Increase your infill or increase your number of top layers. It looks like the filament is not bridging the infill space.
I turned the model on its side. The side you are seeing was not resting flat on the build tray
Is the circled face the last flat plane the print head does?
No. I placed the model on its side to show you the gaps. That surface you circled faces the front of the printer and the model’s roof stands upright. That circled area is probably layers 600-800
With that orientation then I would say it is under extrusion. You would either have to slow the print speed down or increase your flow rate.
Yes I agree with @HobbyMaker3D, try turning your hotend temperatures up like 5-10 degrees and try again.
My hot end is at 220 already. Can I safely go hotter on my Creality k1 max?
I have run PC (polycarbonate) on my K1 at 270 hot end.
The max for these machines seems to be 300 degrees.
Can PLA be run at over 220?
On my K1 the default temp. for PLA is 230.
