When remove “generate support” option on slicing I cannot finish printing my model. I get the attached problem. The printing nozzle gets stuck and stops. Is the “generate support” option necessary?
Having support is necessary to hold up parts that need to be in an unsupported position like an overhang or to to low of an angle. That looks like something has gone horribly wrong. For a start you can try a different type of support structure and amount of infill, a few percent (less then 5%) is all that is really necessary.
