Halot Play will not print files sliced in Halot Box. I just got my new (refurbished) Halot Play from Creality. It came with software for both Halot Box and Chitubox. I have installed both and tried to slice a test file for printing. HB does not give a option for the Halot Play, it came with Halot Mage preselected. I contacted Creality customer service (what a joke) and after 5 days of communication back and forth they finally told me that since it came with Mage selected, that must be the right option. HB generated the file in format .cxldp. That doesn’t work, I get an “Unknown file format. -009" error on the printer. Same file format error on Chitubox export. The U drive also had 2 print files with .cxdlpv4 format, which printed perfectly. How do I get HB or Chitubox to generate .cxdlpv4 formats or how can I get the Halot Play to print some other format I can use ?
Halot Play only reads .cxdlpv4files. Update Halot Box to the latest version (this can only export that specific file)
I thought of that last night, so I downloaded the latest version. Still not found. I was able to update Chitubox and it now finds my printer and formats files that I can use, and I printed several small projects with great results so I guess Chitubox is now my go to software. Thanks for your help though!
