I stumbled across the “3D Chameleon” today. Has anyone tried it?
It appears to work with direct drives as well and seems like it might be a simple but effective solution for multicolor (and possibly multi-material) prints.
Looks interesting but how long has it been out and does it really work. I didn’t see any demonstration videos.
Looks like it uses the printers change filament function and then has a controller to select and set the appropriate filament, ready to feed back in, according to what you program it for.
Could be wrong, i was once before.
