I am new to here and 3d printing in general. I purchased a qidi recently and sent it back.
I just got my bambu h2c now with 2 ams2pros and a ams-ht a ton of filament and have jumped into the deep end.
I am still printing structural stuff, various things like filament swatches, spoolnre rollers and a bunch of stuff like that.
Looking forward to reading and learning here
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, and down the proverbial rabbit hole! Nice to see another local in here. I am in Hamilton.
Sounds like you have the 3D Printing monkey on your back, no hope for you now.
Welcome from Waterloo Region! With a setup like that, I’d expect some wonderful multi-color prints are coming
Shortly working on a easter village theme
The one that has its claws dug into your shoulders and makes you think about designing bits to be printed out while you should be sleeping. The one that has you out trying to score some new filament of just the right colour at weird hours. Don’t worry it will show it ugly head so time and then you are doomed like the rest of us.
Oh ya that one, when you get up in the middle of night for a pee and check on the progress or switch plates and start the other new plate printing.
I think I now understand

Are all coloured bits separate or are you burning out your ams with switching filaments?
so some of the pieces that are single colour i am grouping them and printing them on single plates, other pieces that are multiple colours are on other plates, so like the base is an example its printing with mistletoe green on the right extruder / induction side, and the other colour is jade white that is priting on the left extruder. Other prints have had sometimes use only the right extruder / induction side multiple colours.
Welcome indeed. And I don’t think he went down the rabbit hole, he went into the full warren, and looks to be excavating his own tunnels.
Yer grandchildren will be very happy with those I think. (says the guy who’s just finished another odd little adjustment to his bedslinger, so that he can print test fit stuff for his eldest daughter’s swordplay habit.)
question why would I be burning out the ams with switching filaments?
Just a little joke. Knowing how many filament switches happen on a multi-colour print.
lol funny we all have our demons
which one, because there was several plates i did.
Those eggs, are they the ones you eat with “green eggs and multi coloured ham”
