Last month, A small 3D printer company launched an affordable high-speed 3D printer based in the Voron frame. With the open-source Klipper Firmware, the 3d print speed of this 3d printer can reach 700mm/s. It is SOVOL SV08, a large core XY printer. With 350x350x345mm build volume, its price is 579 USD. Much cheaper than Creality K1Max and QIDI X-Max 3.
Last year, Kingroon and Flashforge released 2 high-speed 3D printers in succession. They are all core XY printers with Klipper Firmware. Kingroon KLP1 sold at 319 USD with a build volume of 230x230x210mm.
Some other 3D printer companies including Elegoo, Anycubic, and Kingroon moved the Klipper Firmware to i3 frame 3d printers and one cantilever 3d printer. Making these affordable 3D printers can reach high 3D print speeds. The 3D print speed of Kingroon KP3S Pro V2 can reach the highest 500mm/s and normally run at 350mm/s. The price of it is only 239 USD.
