How to Fix and Identify Bambu Lab P1S - HMS Code Issue(Motor A/B or MC board)

If the HMS reports “Motor-A has an open-circuit”, follow these steps.

  1. Turn off the printer
  2. Remove the power cable and the back cover of the printer
  3. Swap the cable of Motor A and Motor B
  4. Re-connect the Power Cable, and turn on the printer
  5. If the HMS still reports that Motor A has an open-circuit, the MC board is broken and will need to be replaced.
    If the HMS changes to Motor B has an open-circuit, motor A is broken.
    In this way, we can determine if it’s a motor issue or MC board issue. And provide corresponding part for them.
