Some of you may know this already.
I had to print a figurine for Christmas, .2MM layer height and the finish was perfect. No visible layer lines. None, nada nix.
What mayhaps did I do, you may well ask. I printed with PLA Silk. That’s it. Now your thinking “a snake oil scam”, “bit coin teaser” or general mental collapse. Fear not it is none of those evil conundrums. All the less detailed parts of the print where smooth as a babies butt (don’t go looking to see what a babies butt is like, you don’t want to end up on a pedo list). No lines at all. After that I printed a simple base for it, also in silk but a different brand and colour. Perfect results.
