My Latest project
.
wow that is quite a nice replica, Very nice job
Nice.
Love the quote - Better to burn out than to fade away!
I’m a huge fan of what you did here & I’m working on a Kurgan Helm right now, but running into a deadend. Are there any tips you can give me on the hair. Where did you find it & how is it attached. I can’t find any guidance on adding hair to helms on youtube. I’d really appreciate any help. Josh
This looks awesome! Great job on the paint/details. Love it!
Hi Josh, I used this product for the hair vesaneae 2x59 Inch Shaggy Faux Fur, Plush Faux Fur Fabric Strips, Super Soft Craft Precut Strip for DIY Craft Cosplay Costume Christmas Halloween Santa Claus Gnome Beard Hair Dwarf Decoration (Black) : Amazon.ca: Home
I measured the length and folded it together back to back and used hot glue to attach it to the helmet, being very careful not to get glue in the hair for the tails in the back I rolled a length of it and elastic it and bound it with leather vinyl I had sitting around and attached those with hot glue as well. hope this helps
Thank you for the pointers - I really appreciate it a lot. The fur material just came in & I’m gonna give these techniques a try later in the week. I’ll post a photo when it’s all done. Thanks again!
Cool, looking forward to it.
Love it, Looks amazing.
