Continuing the discussion from Best Adhesive for PLA?:
I used CA glue to hold the parts together and then used a soldering iron to melt/weld the joints together on the inside AND I only managed to glue myself to the helmet twice 
Now for the hard part… smoothing and finishing
Oh wow, are you going to paint it as well??? Would love to see the finished product 
I do plan on painting it but I haven’t decided if I want to go with a custom design or make it the same as the TV series.
Check out a YouTube channel called “Frankly Built”. Frank has done a bunch of different Mando buckets with a bunch of different finishes (the graphite rub is my personal fave). Might give you some inspiration!
