Can’t move router or printer. Connection was weak but worked occasionally. My slicer software stopped recognizing the printer. This was on both Bambu Studio and Orca. Main page of slicer shows I’m using a Bambu A1 but when I go to slice print, it shows no printer and won’t let me add it. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the slicer 3 times with same result. I also added 2 WiFi extenders to correct the routers range not reaching every time. Still I can’t use slicer. Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be appreciated. Thanks. I’m at a standstill.
Use a USB or SD card to load the g-code onto the printer. Why the slicer won’t work is strange.
try using Bambu handy to add the printer.
Thanks Kitedemon
Your suggestion worked !
I wish Bambu had good support but since it doesn’t, I’m glad I joined this forum !
I still don’t have any idea why their software would drop connection to the printer.
Many thanks everyone for helping out.
No problem, Bambu does not have good tech support. I have used support from Prusa, Bambu, Monoprice, Artillery, Snapmaker, FLsun and Creality.
Bambu isn’t the worst sadly. Prusa in my experience the only support that is actually good. Artillery was the worst I ever dealt with, it took so long for a DOA printer that it was out of warranty before it actually made its first print. 2-3 week reply time. terrible. times are changing, I hope that companies start actually supporting the units they sell. There is a reason why Prusa is the OG.
