New to multicolor printing

I would like to make the numbers a different color? How do i go about changing this to make it work.

We need a bit more information. Do you have a multi color printer? If not are the numbers raised above the rest?

Multi color in the slicer you can ‘paint’ the numbers with a different color. If they are at a unique heigh you can add a change filament at layer height and switch to the same type of filament (pla, pla) of the different color then run as many layers as you want, or switch to something else.

Filament changes can be easy or hard depending on the slicer.

Im in the process of looking for one. I need a 350x350 build plate so i was looking at the creality k2 max with the cfs. I have the flsun t1 pro and the kobra 2 max so i have done those color changes with raised parts but in this design but i would like these numbers to be flush with the top layer and to be able to change the color

And the printer.

Manual colour changes can be time consuming. An AMS will do the work for you but there is still a lot of filament garbage.

Im not to worry about the filament waste but im more trying to figure out how the numbers can be a flat to the surface while being a different color.

If you wish numbers in a different colour and they are below the surface or level there are really limited options. A multi color system comparable with your printer, or a printer with multi color attachment. A tool changer is far more efficient if you were doing a lot it is faster and more reliable.

The other option is far easier and cheaper is to leave the letter recessed slightly and manually color the recessed letters. Crayon can work well with small letters, ink or paint marker for larger. Even paint.

Multi filament (colour) is built into the slicers. Orca, Creality Print, Bambu Studio at least. It is just a natter of having a filament changer or doing it manually.
