Noir: Should my build plate compress the FEP in the Home position?

Hello all!

I am new to using a large format Resin Printer - all my previous experience is with Anycubic Photon.

I have been having first layer adhesion issues with my Noir and so I followed Peolopy’s document to re-level the build plate. When I install the vat and go to the home position I can hear the FEP crinkle as the build plate presses into it. Is this normal for the larger printers like the Phenom and the Noir??

it should press into the LCD screen so the paper just grabs, any more or less and your gonna get issues.

the FEP is thinner than paper so I would not expect it to compress at all.
