Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I have an Ender 3 with an upgraded Creality 4.2.7 silent board. I’m running TH3D firmware and recently wanted to add a filament runout sensor on it. It’s plugged into the board… The led light turns blue when filament is in and turns off when filament is out but it fails to stop the print when the filament has completely run through the sensor.
I have recompiled the firmware, enabling the areas of the firmware that I believe should make it work but haven’t had any luck.
Maybe someone can give me set me in the right direction to solve this. Thanks!
