Problem printing on CRM4 using Creality Print 6.1

I saved a file under Creality Print and when I attempt to print on my CRM4 the arm makes a grinding sound and prints in mid air half way up. I stop the print right away.

How do I get Creality Print 6.2 settings set up so I can print on my CRM4? Here are some photos.

If I could get some detailed help that would be great.

Here are some more photos

I’m assuming that you mean to install the CR-M4 profile for Creality Print.

Go to the top left side and click on the settings button.

  1. Scroll down to the CR series of printers.
  2. Select the right printer from the pictures shown. You click on the pic to select. Set nozzle size.
  3. click “confirm”.

The system flag at the top must be selected first. (should have put this at the top but…..)

Hope this is what you meant.

I did select the correct printer from the photo but I still cannot print.

what is the system flag?

Also I use a USB stick. Will this work with Creality Print and CRM4?

if I am understanding your comment the arm of the figure is unsupported and the printer tries o print in the air?

Try using auto supports if I have that correct.

The arm makes a grinding sound then pauses half way across the build sheet and eight inches in the air. The software is not working with my printer. This has nothing to do with tree supports. The Creality Print 6.2 software on my computer is not configured properly and I need to know what the proper settings are supposed to be.

After you open settings there are two buttons at the top System and User. System is where you select the printer you want and use is the printers you have selected for the slicer. It may have one printer or several of the same printers but have different nozzle sizes.

I don’t see why using a USB stick would matter.

Do you mean the printer gantry arm that carries the print extruder?

Yes. The gantry arm

I’m not familiar with the CR-M4 so I don’t know much about the mechanics of it but it sounds like a printer problem and not a slicer problem. I could be wrong. maybe one of the others can help.
