Prusa slicer has a Z offset setting

on my machine, there is one in the menus do I need to bother with setting something in that?

I guess you could use it if you have a machine where you can’t overwrite the firmware but you’ve replaced the hot end?

I always manual level to zero, and use one of those Z offsets for PETG and TPU, 0.15 and 0.1mm respectively

I have ABL on my printer and have a z offset set on the printer does that change anything?

It’s just another way do doing the same thing, really…I think…

Ok, just don’t want to run the nozzle into the bed by accident heh.
