Because of space restrictions, I decided to try out this modification on my machine. So far it’s working like a charm. I hope it helps other’s out.

Thank you. I’ve actually ordered some door sealing strips which might work better for the seal since they’re made of silicone. I’ve still got a couple which need to be modded this way, so I’ll be able to test it out soon.
