So my cr 10 smart isnt reading sd cards. Its saying sd card init failed. M21 and when i plug it in it says that. When the sd card is newly formatted, fat32, 4096 byte size, 8gb, it inits it. But when i add gcode to it, it fails to init. Any ideas?
Sometimes SD card are bitchy and don’t always format right. The SD Association, yes it is a thing, suggests using a program they give out for formatting cards.
Probably not the cause but you can try it anyway.

oh damn i didnt know that existed
Tried formatting using their software, still same issue. Tried using 2 cards. 8gb and 32 gb
