Setting up BL Touch for Ender 3 Pro

Hello,

I recently purchased a BL Touch for my Ender 3 Pro, and am having trouble installing it. It seems like the videos on YouTube are a bit dated and require soldering of wires to install this device, however, I was told it should be a matter of plug and play.

Is there a more current video tutorial that would be useful for this? Also, does anyone have a file for the mounting bracket that I can use to secure the BL Touch to the Extruder?

(Just an FYI, I believe I have the version 4.2 board as I have a micro USB port on my printer)

Thanks

Hi there!

Welcome to the forum here, we are so glad to have you!!!

Installing the BLTouch used to be a nightmare, luckily it has become much easier recently. I have linked a couple of more recent videos for you to check out, hopefully these are helpful for you. As always if you have any more questions you can feel free to reach out and I will do my best to assist you.

Happy printing,
Matthew

If it is a 4.2.2 or 4.2.7 MB then the Touch should just plug into it, then update the firmware.
