After scrapping my hotend with ABS on PLA settings (see other post) I had to order a new heat block, cartridge and thermistor.
Took advantage of this to order Misumi bearings and rods to do a long overdue maintenance on the MK2. Printed new parts as the old ones got dirty I guess from grease/oils and won’t come clean. New parts in blue ABS with a brushed on coat of Acetone. Gives it a nice shine and makes it easy to clean.
