Hey Everyone,

I’ve got a bunch of empty 3D Print Canada spools lying around, so I decided to make an adaptor for extension cables. If you’re looking for something to do with your old spools, and have some extension cables lying around, this might help you out.

nice job @moocowsia never thought of that use for an old spool but I will be using it for sure.

Depends on the cable thickness. A normal consumer grade cable should probably fit 50’ worth. The thicker cables I have probably only about 30’.

I can return old spools to the local filament manufacturer. I do like the extension cable roller. Most of my cables are for film, they would not fit very long lengths sadly.
