Hello all, hope you’re having a good day!
So I’m running my Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo pretty regularly and it’s printing well. Except for one little thing…
When printing more than one object there is a whole lotta stringin goin on. I’ve cleaned the nozzle and tried lowering the nozzle temp in five degree increments. I’ve gone from 195 down to 175 and the results are pretty consistent.
I’m using the easy solution of just printing one object at a time but if anyone has some suggestions I’d love to hear them.
Thanks all!
What kind of filament are you using? Some are worse then others even by brand. Have you tried printing a temp tower to see what temp. has the least stringing?
Have you tried printing a retraction tower to find the optimal retraction values for your printer and filament?
I’d suggest changing the nozzle. Especially if it had been printing well and then just started to get worse with same settings. Brass wears fast. When I was using brass with glow filament it would be worn out in less than one kg. It can wear shocking fast and greatly affects bed adhesion, stringing, blobs, and surface quality.
Good suggestions, thanks!
Two towers coming up. I’ll save the nozzle swap until I rule out other causes.
As for material I’m using PLA. I have switched to another roll from a different brand, so I’ll see if that helps as well.
Thanks Folks
There are several different grades of PLA and they can print differently.
