hi there, i have a tevo tarantula with a warped bed that flexes up at the center. it works fine for small prints but not ones that use most of the bed. I have removed the stock bed springs and I am using standoffs and a bltouch. any ideas the fix this?
Did you set up the firmware for the bl touch? Id expect mesh bed leveling to be able to compensate for a warped bed. Also are you leveling with the bed heated?
yes I have it commented on in marlin config and I preheat before.
Hmm, How many points does it measure for the mesh? 9? 12? 16? Perhaps set it up for more measurement points may result in a better mesh and therefore better first layer.
New bed. Antlabs suggest not exceeding variations larger than 2 time the nozzle diameter. A bed that is warped it is always going to be a struggle (experience talking here) replacing it with a better one ends the issues.
All beds warp some from the heat in the centre, how bad is the warping. If it is only a few thou the BL Touch should compensate for it.
it has 9 points.
