hi i print petg pla and was wondering if the stock print nozzle came with ender 3 s1 pro is any good for the high speeds of the sonic pad or is there some other nozzle should I get thanks for you help
depends. Nozzles are consumable so they wear out depending on material they are made from or material they print with. PLA with carbon fibre, glow, or even white wear faster than natural for example.
If we simplify there are normal nozzles brass or brass coated. High flow like a CHT. hard for abrasives like diamondback (diamond)
Then there are combinations hardened steel high flow for example.
You can choose. The stock nozzle (and Hot end) may keep up with the print speeds you choose or not. Test it. If you need to print faster and it can’t keep pace a high flow may be worth it. I personally always use hard nozzle to reduce wear. So to me a high flow expensive makes more sense to have long lasting high flow.
I print a fair bit of carbon fibre so in my case brass wears out in a week or so. It’s just a pain in the butt to keep replacing it over and over. I use nozzles mostly but might buy a diamond back in the new year… That is me. Some of my printers needed high speed some it doesn’t make much difference.
thank you for getting back to me
Its not really a straight answer but what is best for me may not be for you.
