Why use different nozzle materials?

I was looking to get spare nozzles for my Neptune 4 Max when I came across these ones.

They offer steel and hardened steel as well as brass. Is there a specific reason I would buy these nozzles? I’m assuming it is for using specific filaments from the little research I did but not sure if it is really worth looking into to get.

Great question! Essentially if you’re looking to use more abrasive materials, that is where I would consider using a Stainless or Hardened Steel nozzle.

I found a great article by All3DP which explains in depth - the different types of nozzles, materials, etc. that are available out there.
