I’ve just started playing around with Z-Hop and I am liking the results.
I’m currently using a hop distance of 0.2mm and a hop speed of 50mm/s.
Does anyone have a any recommended Z-Hop settings to try out?
General rule of thumb for a Z-hop setting is to base it off the diameter of your nozzle (ID tip).
Anywhere between half the measurement of the diameter of the nozzle and the full size.
Example: nozzle is 0.4mm, therefore, the Z-hop setting is recommended to be anywhere between 0.2mm to 0.4mm
