What is better to print on? PEI or Glass

Depends on the filament. PETG and ABS use glass (with glue stick) and PEI is better used for PLA. TPU can print on both glass and PEI.

I use a Buildtak type covering and have not had any problems with PLA, Flexible PLA and PETG. No need for glue or hairspray or anything. They are quite durable too, have yet to need to replace them for wear.

Thanks @tony for this, I was going to be printing with PETG for the first time soon and was wondering about this. I’ve heard of horror stories with PETG bonding with the build surface.
