Thats amazing everyone, I love seeing the practical uses

I made a part that fixed my microwave door latch. Most microwaves have very flimsy material inside and it tends to bend over time. Made a bracket to hold it secure so it works well again.

Pot lid knobs galore too!

Hi Elrin

I’ve almost lost count of the number of pot lids I have repaired, Actually to the point now that I have a couple of extra in my “junk” drawer.

What material do you use for the pot lid handles?

I do mine in Nylon or ABS, tried PETG but it got a little soft, only recently got into printing Nylon, its why I printed some spares. Not as much fun to print but once you get it dialed its amazingly strong

I fixed my coffee grinder a little while back.

It had a small plastic gear like thingy that kicks out the grounds after they pass through the grinder. It was well worn down from years of use, didn’t fit flush against the housing wall and just didn’t work very well anymore.

I printed a replacement in PETG and it’s been working like new ever since.

@TurkeyOnRye that’s a nice job on the CAD model, that repair is just about perfect

Thank you @Jason!
That I think is version 7 of it ahaha.

I had quite a few that were over or under sized, before getting the final one just right.
